Yesterday, Imo Angels FC played a friendly match with 9ineteen Damsels FC as a means to promote the development of Female football and girl child empowerment in the state.
Their opponent from Umuahia, Abia State took the lead before Ezinne Nwokocha got the equaliser for the home team. Ozioma got the second while Onyinyechi Kalu got the third goal of the afternoon to give the host a 3-1 victory.
We're so proud of the direction female football is heading to in Imo state as we continue to strive to attain many more successes.
